Valarosa Parks Association - Playground Build In Didsbury

If you are interested in volunteering to help build a playground for the Valarosa neighbourhood check out the Valarosa Parks Association Facebook page. Ben McPhee with the VPA says they will be starting on Saturday, May 30th with some grass seeding and some general site works. He adds, they hope to drill the foundation for the playground on weekend of June 20th.

A playground build is on tap in the town of Didsbury for the Valarosa neighbourhood, which is located by the Zion Church along Highway 582.

Ben McPhee, Director with the Valarosa Parks Association, says the structures will be for ages 2 and up.

He notes the playground has been in the works for three years now and the COVID-19 pandemic forced them to delay their initial building date from April until June.

McPhee thinks they could be done construction by the 27th of June and then open to the public by June 30th.
