Olds RCMP - Hit & Run Collision Causes Property Damage

Olds RCMP are seeking a red, small sized car with body damage to the driver's side after a hit and run collision in the 400 block of Silverthorn Close during the early morning hours of Wednesday, May 8th.

Olds, Alberta ~ On Wednesday, May 8th at about 1:40am police were dispatched to a residence located in the 400 block of Silverthorn Close for a hit and run collision between a car and a fence. 
Initial investigation has determined the car was travelling North bound at a high rate of speed and was unable to navigate the right hand bend in the road.  Police say the vehicle careened across the west bound lane of travel, across the sidewalk onto the grass ultimately striking a wood fence. 
According to Olds RCMP, the car destroyed about 10 to 15 feet of fence before the driver brought the car back onto the street and fled the scene. 
Police are seeking a red, small sized, car with body damage to the driver's side.
