Mountain View Colts - Northern Division Semi-Final Shifts Back To Didsbury For Pivotal Game

The Mountain View Colts host the Airdrie Techmation Thunder for Game 4 of their Heritage Junior Hockey League Northern Division Semi-Final at 8pm on Wednesday, February 26th. Live coverage can be heard on 96.5 CKFM starting at 7:55pm. The Colts have a 2-1 lead in that best of seven series.

The Mountain View Colts are getting set to host the Airdrie Techmation Thunder in the biggest game of the season for both teams.

The Colts currently hold a 2-1 lead in their best of seven Northern Division Semi-Final series. Game 4 is in Didsbury on Wednesday, February 26th.

Mountain View will be looking to take a 3-1 stranglehold on the series and maintain home ice advantage, while the Thunder will be trying to tie it up at 2.

The Thunder won Game 3 by the score of 4-3 in Airdrie on Monday as they went 1 for 8 on the power play. The Colts were oh for 6.

Colts Head Coach Gord Olsen says staying out of the penalty box requires a disciplined approach.

Sam Kolke from Three Hills have been providing a spark for the Mountain View Colts during this year's playoffs.

The 19 year old forward had just 1 goal in 9 games during the post-season in 2019. However, this year he has 2 goals and 2 assists already through just 6 games.

Colts Olsen says Kolke has been bringing energy to their third line along with Damian Vickers and Carter Layden.

96.5 CKFM will have the call of all the action starting at 7:55pm on Wednesday, February 26th as the Mountain View Colts welcome the Airdrie Techmation Thunder to the Didsbury Memorial Complex for Game 4.
