Vanier Cup Victory For OHS Grad

Freshman running back DJ Neustaeter got his hands on the Vanier Cup following the University of British Columbia Thunderbirds 26-23 victory over the University of Montreal Carabins.

The 51st edition of the Vanier Cup was won in thrilling fashion by the U-B-C Thunderbirds on Saturday, November 28th in Quebec City.

The T-birds defeated the University of Montreal 26-23 to win the 2015 C-I-S football championship on a last second field goal.

Former Olds High School Spartan DJ Neustaeter is a running back at U-B-C and gets to celebrate a national championship to cap off his freshman season.
 
For U-B-C it was the first Vanier Cup title since 1997.
