South Dakota's Chuck Schmidt turned in the winning saddle bronc ride on championship Sunday at the Sundre Pro Rodeo.
Schmidt rode Franklin Rodeo's "Just My Luck" to the tune of 85 and a half points.

4.5 seconds was the best time in team roping and that was done by two tandems - Kolton Schmidt from Barrhead and Shay Carroll from Texas as well as Montana's Dustin Bird and Oregon's Russell Cardoza.
Todd Woodward from Lethbridge split the 1st and 2nd place prize money in steer wrestling with Jason Thomas from Arkansas. They both got it done in 4.1 seconds.
Oregon's R.C. Landingham captured first in bareback thanks to an 84 and a half.
Utah's Rhen Richard had an 8 and 3 to pick up the victory in tie-down roping.
Brandon Tetz from Cremona and Saskatchewan's Blake Smith tied for top spot in steer riding with 79 points each.
The novice saddle bronc winner was Kolby Wanchuk from Sherwood Park with 75 points.
Saskatchewan's Lane Link and Tanner Young from Sylvan Lake split the novice bareback title in Sundre as they both had 66 points.
