Spartans Have Three Key Areas To Work On Following Blowout Loss

Saturday, September 12th was a beautiful day for high school football at Normie Kwong Park but the result was an ugly one for for OHS. Against one of the tougher opponents on the Spartans' 2015 schedule, they were outscored 43-3 by the Centennial Coyotes.

The Olds Spartans have been challenged by their Head Coach to give him "just a little bit extra effort" this week in practice.
They were beaten 43 to 3 at home on Saturday by Calgary's Centennial High.
OHS was down 43-zip at halftime. However, the Spartans outscored the Coyotes 3 to nothing in the second half thanks to a safety by the defense and a rouge on special teams.
George Grant expects his players to try "to improve each and every day on their tackling, conditioning and blocking".
Grant says they have some key areas to work on in practice.
OHS has 1 win and 1 loss so far this season. On Friday, September 18th the first road game of the year for the Spartans will see them travels to Medicine Hat.
