Ryan Hounjet from Priddis and Brett Pasula from Red Deer tied for the best score of the day with identical rounds of 3 under par 69. Robert Weseen from Olds was alone behind them in second place as he carded an impressive minus 2 round of 70. That allowed him to land one of the 20 available spots to tee it up later this summer when the provincial men's amateur championship is played at the Innisfail Golf Club.
