Reg Carrick's OC WBB Coaching Career Concludes

Head Coach Reg Carrick finished his four years with the Lady Broncos with a record of 59 wins and 40 losses (22-7, 8-15, 20-7, 9-11). Outside of records and banners, he lists helping a player like Melanie Thera earn a full C-I-S scholarship to the University of Victoria as one of his favourite Broncos success stories.

Reg Carrick's career as bench boss of the Olds College Broncos women's basketball team came to an end with a 97-75 home win on Saturday, February 27th over the Medicine Hat College Rattlers.
In January, Carrick announced this would be his last season. The Lady Broncos won an ACAC championship, a national bronze medal and a provincial bronze medal during his four years at the helm.
Coach Carrick says working with OC's Executive Director of Campaign & Athletics Bob Murray has been great and phenomenal support was also received from Olds College President Dr. Tom Thompson.
He would like his legacy to be getting the women's basketball program at Olds College ready for ACAC competition.
Coach Carrick says he will stay on with Olds College but in a managerial capacity.
The Lady Broncos missed the playoffs this season finishing with a record of 9 wins and 11 losses.
