Out West Junior Rodeo Continues To Grow In Third Season

The 2016 season has concluded for the Out West Junior Rodeo. President Vance Tetz says their participants come from a large area in Central Alberta that stretches from Rocky Mountain House to Claresholm, Strathmore to Lacombe.

The Out West Junior Rodeo wrapped up another season last month.
President Vance Tetz says they had close to 150 kids ranging in age from 5 to 15 compete during their third season and support for what they are doing is continuing to grow.
Tetz says participation numbers were up by more than double from their first year in 2014 and they have a solid base of competitors for the future.
There were a total of 6 weekend events put on by the Out West Junior Rodeo this summer and all of them were held at the Dog Pound Stampede Grounds.
Tetz runs down their event winners for 2016..
