On the heels of the Olds Mavericks winning the Tier 2 championship last weekend in Lethbridge, the Olds Stingers are going to Brooks to battle for Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League glory starting on Friday, July 22nd.

He was was pleased with a second place finish in their league this year behind the unbeaten High River Heat.
The Heat finished the regular season with a perfect 15 and oh record. The Stingers were 8-6 and 1.
On Saturday, July 23rd Olds wraps up round robin play by facing High River at 1:30 and then Calgary at 6:30.
After each team plays three games at provincials this weekend, the top two will move on to play for the gold medal on Sunday, July 24th in Brooks at 1:30. The other two teams will meet in the bronze medal match.
