Olds Spitfires Hosting Baseball Alberta's Tier 2 Pee Wee AA Provincials

The Olds Spitfires play for Baseball Alberta's Tier 2 Pee Wee AA provincial title this weekend on their home diamond. Teams from Innisfail, Calgary, Edmonton, St. Albert, Lacombe, Strathmore and Red Deer will also be in town for provincials.

Eight teams will be trying to win a Baseball Alberta provincial championship in Olds this weekend.
The Tier 2 Pee Wee AA tournament starts with round robin play. The teams are broken into two pools of four for the preliminary action.
Olds Spitfires Head Coach Jordan Cleland breaks down how they have done against the three other teams in Pool B this season.
On Friday, August 5th at 3pm the Spitfires hit the diamond for their first game versus the Innisfail Indians.
Cleland likes his teams chances for success at provincials.
Cleland says this is not the first time a group of his players have had the opportunity to host provincials at O.R. Hedges Park.
A concession will be set up and games will run on diamonds 1 and 2 at O.R. Hedges Park.

The Tier 2 pee wee provincial championship game in Olds is slated for 5 o'clock on Sunday.
