They routed the Red Deer Renegades 18-6 in Tier 2 play on Wednesday, June 1st in Olds.
17 year old Grayson Cameron from Olds is in his 9th year of playing lacrosse. He is third on the Mavericks with 14 goals through his first 7 games this season.
Cameron always looks forward to playing at home.
He was impressed with the Mavs effort as they hung on for an 11-10 victory over the Wranglers on Sunday, May 29th in Calgary.
Mavericks goalie Lance Heck from Olds says they have faced a variety of competition so far in their first season of Tier 2 action.
The 18 year old loves playing the high stress role for the Mavs.
Prior to the win over Red Deer it had been two weeks since the Mavericks last home game. They dominated the Lacoka Locos 23-3 on May 18th.
Meanwhile, Tier 3 RMLL lacrosse will see the Olds Stingers host the High River Heat this Friday, June 3rd at 8pm.
The Stingers record this season is 3 and 3. They have had a tough time beating the Heat as all three of their losses have been to High River.
