OGs AJHL Exhibition Schedule Starts With OTs & Shootout vs Eagles

The Olds Grizzlys are slated to play 4 pre-season games before the 2015-2016 Alberta Junior Hockey League regular season gets underway on Friday, September 11th at home against Camrose.

The AJHL pre-season began for the OGs with a pair of split squad games against the Canmore Eagles on Tuesday, September 2nd.
In Canmore, Ryley Smith from Huxley, Alberta had a pair of goals including the overtime winner as the Black & Gold won 6-5. Taber's Logan Kerner also scored twice for Olds.
At the SportsComplex, it took 12 shootout rounds for the Eagles to edge the Grizzlys 2-1.
Recent trade acquisition Wyatt Noskey from High Prairie has been playing on a line with Landon Kletke and Cale Brown. Noskey netted the lone goal for the Black & Gold while the team was short handed in the third period.
Last month Olds traded forward Ty Mappin to the Drumheller Dragons in exhange for defenseman Tristan Thompson and Noskey.
The exhibition schedule continues for the Grizzlys with a game in Camrose on Wednesday, September 3rd.
