Northern Division Semi-Finals Set To Begin For MV Colts On 96.5 CKFM

The Heritage Junior B Hockey League's 2015-2016 Northern Division semi-finals do not include any surprises as the first place Mountain View Colts meet the fourth place Blackfalds Wranglers, while the second place Airdrie Thunder will take on the third place Red Deer Vipers.

On the heels of setting a franchise record for wins during the HJHL's regular season, the Mountain View Colts hope to have a long playoff run.
The Colts finished first in the Northern Division thanks to a 27-10-1 record, so they received a first round bye.
Meanwhile, the fourth place Blackfalds Wranglers (22-12-4) swept the Three Hills Thrashers in a best of three playoff series. The Wranglers won game one 4-3 in double overtime at home, before venturing out on the road to secure the series victory thanks to an 8-2 rout in Three Hills.
The regular season series saw Mountain View win by scores of 5-0 at home on November 21st, 4-1 on the road on December 8th and 8-2 at home on February 5th. The Wranglers lone win in four tries against the Colts was 2-1 in Blackfalds on January 5th.
Tune in to 96.5 CKFM at 8pm to hear live coverage from the Didsbury Memorial Complex as the Colts welcome Blackfalds to town for game one on Wednesday, February 17th at 8pm. CKFM will also be there as the Colts host game three on Saturday, February 20th at 8pm.
