New Location For Olds Gynmastics Club

The Olds Gymnastics Club is ready to celebrate the grand opening of its new location on Sunday, June 12th from 11am until 3pm. Women's Head Coach of the Olds Gymnastics Club, Michelle Jaffray, says activities will include crafts in their birthday party room and face painting for the kids. All of their equipment can be tried out as well - plus there will be a street hockey game with former NHLer Jason Jaffray in the parking lot.

The new location for the Olds Gymnastics Club is in the Mountain View Plaza in the old Sears building next to Stevenson Homes.

The Club will celebrate its new facility by holding a grand opening with face painting, a bouncey house and a street hockey game in the parking lot featuring former NHLer Jason Jaffray.

Women's Head Coach of the Olds Gymnastics Club, Michelle Jaffray, says the new location has several perks.

After receiving a chunk of the proceeds from the 2016 Olds Spring Fling, she says they are nearly able to afford their new spring floor.

Jaffray says they currently have about 155 athletes in the Olds Gymnastics Club.

She adds they hope to get a little bit closer to being able to purchase their new spring floor during the grand opening as well.

Their fundraising goal for it is between $17-$20,000 dollars and after receiving a chunk of the 2016 Olds Spring Fling proceeds, Jaffray says the Club is at about $12,000.
