Midget A Female Grizzlys Skate To 2-2 Tie With Calgary Chaos In Provincial Opener

Hockey Alberta's Midget A Female Provincial Tournament began in Olds on Thursday, March 10th.

 
As heard on 96.5 CKFM, the puck dropped to start Hockey Alberta's Midget A Female provincial tournament on Thursday in Olds.
 
Grizzlys 17 year old right winger Victoria Wagstaff says they are pleased with the result from their opening game against the Calgary Chaos.
 
 
Olds trailed 2-1 going into the third period before she netted the game tying goal.
 
 
Victoria and her sister Alayna Wagstaff both had a goal and an assist for Olds.
 
Today at the SportsComplex the Midget A Female Grizzlys will face off with the Sherwood Park Thunder at 11:30am on Friday, March 11th and then at 5pm they'll take on the Onoway Eagles.
 
On Saturday at 2:15 Olds will meet the Edmonton Royals.
 
The semi-finals go during the 9 o'clock hour on Sunday. Then tune in for live play-by-play coverage later that afternoon at 3 of the gold medal game on 96.5 CKFM.
