Local Cowboys Dominate Roughstock Events At Glencross Charity Invitational

A couple of Central Albertans turned in solid performances despite the wet weather on Friday, August 21st at the Daines Ranch.

Ky Marshall from Bowden was one of the winners during the 4th annual Glencross Invitational Charity Roughstock event.
The 23 year old had an 89 point ride at the Daines Ranch on Friday in the finals to tie with Colin Adams.
In the ride off, Marshall took first place thanks to an 85.5.
The top saddle bronc rider was Penhold's Todd Herzog - he posted an 84.5 in the finals.
And Jordan Hansen from Okotoks was tops in bull riding, following an 88.5 aboard Vold Rodeo's Rival Son.
The event put on each year by NHLer Curtis Glengross and his family supports the Ronald McDonald House Central Alberta and Hockey Alberta's "Every Kid, Every Community" program.
