First Annual Olds Grizzlys Elite Development Camp

The Olds Grizzlys first annual Elite Development Camp runs from Monday, August 15th through Friday the 19th.

There are still a few spots available for the Olds Grizzlys first annual Elite Development Camp.

Among the features are intense dry land sessions at the CLC High Performance Centre, as well as on ice skills development at the SportsComplex for both male and female players.

Grizzlys Head Coach Dana Lattery felt there was a need for a summer opportunity like the elite development camp in the community, after hearing from local players and parents.

Lattery says the camp is being held in addition to their hockey school, in order to give some older kids "more of a skill development week".

He adds they are trying to keep the elite development camp pretty small, so there is an intimate setting.

Lattery is also excited about the response their annual hockey school which runs from August 22nd through the 26th has received this year.
