Colts vs Thrashers Again Tonight

For the 2nd time in 3 nights Mountain View meets up with Three Hills. The Colts won 3-1 in Didsbury on Wednesday. Tonight the Thrashers host the back end of a pre-christmas home & home series.

A win tonight would allow the Mountain View Colts to move into a 2nd place tie in the Heritage Junior Hockey League's North Division.

The Colts currently trail the Three Hills Thrashers by 2 points.

On Wednesday, Aaron Fedyk scored during a 3rd period 5 on 3 powerplay to help the Colts defeat the Three Hills.

His goal broke a 1 all tie, Braeden Anderson then scored into an empty net to seal a 3-1 victory at the Didsbury Memorial Complex.

Fedyk says getting an extended 3rd period powerplay was an opportunity they didn't want to squander.

Didsbury's Jason Edwards also scored for the Colts, while Olds' Ethan Jemieff was sensational in net making 49 saves.

This evening Mountain View visits the Thrashers at the Three Hills Centennial Arena. You can listen to live play-by-play coverage on 96.5 CKFM starting at 8 o'clock.
