Colts Finish November With Loss In Red Deer

A 4-1 defeat to the Vipers in Red Deer on Monday couldn\'t spoil Head Coach Gord Olsen\'s delight with the way his team has played so far this season.

Colts goaltender Ethan Jemieff made 45 saves but it wasn't enough to backstop his team to victory last night.

Mountain View dropped a 4-1 decision to David Foord & the Vipers at the Red Deer Arena. Foord had a goal and 3 assists for Red Deer's Heritage Junior B Hockey League squad.

Colts Head Coach Gord Olsen thought they had a chance when Ryan Thomson scored to tie the game at 1 early in the 2nd period.

Mountain View has now lost 2 straight, but overall in November the team posted 4 wins, 3 losses, and 1 tie.

Olsen is pleased with the progress the Colts have made in his 2nd year as Head Coach.

With 24 points Mountain View is 4th in the North Division 3 points back of 3rd place Red Deer.

The Colts play a pair of home games at the Didsbury Memorial Complex this weekend - they'll host Stettlar on Friday and Banff on Saturday. Both games will start at 8 o'clock.
