Chuckwagon Driver Dale Young From Olds Wins In Sundre

Winning at the 2016 edition of the Bulls & Wagons weekend in Sundre from August 5-7 gave Dale Young and his Friends of the Calgary Flames Ambassadors chuckwagon a third victory of the season. He also won earlier this year in Rycroft and Maskwacis.

 
Tom Sawyer, the veteran voice of the All-Pro Canadian Chuckwagon & Chariot Association, had the call Sunday on 96.5 CKFM as Dale Young from Olds won the final heat of the Bulls & Wagons weekend in Sundre.
 
Young and his Friends of the Calgary Flames Ambassadors chuckwagon had the top time in Heat 10 of 1:04.50.
 
They 37 year old had a great weekend in Sundre as Young also posted the best aggregate time for the three days of racing - 3:07.51 - to claim the championship.
 
Meanwhile, Innisfail's John Stott was the winner in the chariots.
 
3:06.49 was his total time for three trips around the track at the Sundre Rodeo Grounds.
 
There are just two stops left in 2016 for the Taste of Dust Tour.

The All-Pro Chuckwagon & Chariot Association heads to Kikino from August 12th to the 14th and then Westlock from August 19th to the 21st.
