The "UFA Rural Rocks" program arrived at the Didsbury Curling Club on Monday, January 7th. 3-time Canadian Champion Kevin Koe and his team is co-sponsored this season by UFA and NuFarm Agriculture.

2-time world champion curler Kevin Koe and his team made a special appearance on the opening night of the 2019 Didsbury Farm & Ranch Bonspiel.

This season, the team has a familiar lead curler in Ben Hebert and Kevin Koe as skip but two new members as well - second Colton Flasch and third B.J. Neufeld.

Koe was at the Didsbury Farm & Ranch Bonspiel thanks to his co-sponsors UFA & NuFarm Agriculture. While there he was able to give back by teaching some kids the ins and outs of curling through the UFA Rural Rocks program.

Lead Ben Hebert was excited for them to be able to teach some junior curlers in a small setting.

As a new team, Hebert says they are "over the top happy" to have had such exceptional success this season.

Meantime, the 25th annual Didsbury Farm & Ranch Bonspiel continues until the event finals on Saturday, January 12th at 1 o'clock. The banquet is on Saturday night.
