UCP Leadership Voting Is Underway

Polls are now open for the United Conservative Party leadership vote. They at 9am on Thursday, October 26th with voting taking place until Saturday, October 28th at 5pm.

The Interim Leader of the United Conservative Party is pleased with his time in that role.
 
Nathan Cooper who is also the Olds-Didsbury Three Hills MLA says it has been an honor and pleasure to serve the new party.
 
 
Cooper adds, whoever has the most leadership votes will begin their job as permanent United Conservative Party Leader on Monday, October 30th at 1:30 when the Legislative Session resumes.
 
Brian Jean, Jason Kenney and Doug Schweitzer are vying to become the United Conservative Party's first leader.
 
According to the UCP, nearly 62,000 of the party's 106,000 members have registered to vote. That is a 59% rate of registration.
 
Cooper says those who have registered have received a Personal Identification Number with voting instructions and can use that PIN to vote online or by phone during the three day period.
 
 
Polls opened on Thursday, October 26th at 9am and they will remain open until Saturday, October 28 at 5pm.
