UCP Interim Leader's Summer Tour

The Interim Leader of the United Conservative Party began his summer tour in his constituency of Olds-Didsbury-Three Hills on Wednesday, August 2nd.

The Interim Leader of Alberta's United Conservative Party had some coffee with local constituents as part of his summer tour kick-off.
Nathan Cooper - who is also the MLA for Olds-Didsbury-Three Hills - was at the Wendy's/Tim Hortons location in Olds on Wednesday, August 2nd. Cooper says he is putting unity to action ahead of the official leadership vote in October.
The Olds-Didsbury-Three Hills MLA was chosen as Interim Leader by his caucus colleagues at a meeting on July 24th and he will serve in that capacity until a permanent leader is chosen on October 28th.
Cooper has a busy schedule on tap over the next few days.
He says the tour collects feedback from everyday Albertans about the new United Conservative Party Official Opposition and encourage people to be involved in the movement.
Cooper's next stops with the tour will be in Camrose, Lac Le Biche, southern Alberta, and then back in Olds for the 4-H Centennial weekend from August 4-6th..
