Town Of Olds Citizens On Patrol Meeting

A meeting is being held on Wednesday, November 8th for the reboot of Citizens on Patrol in the Town of Olds. Vince Clarke has been spearheading the reboot of Citizens on Patrol and will also be nominating himself for President of the local program. Clarke says Citizens on Patrol fell into his lap when he and some friends were talking about crime in the town of Olds and discussing how citizens could make things better.

An informational and organizational meeting is being held for the reboot of Citizens on Patrol in the Town of Olds.
Community Facilitator for the Town of Olds Jennifer Lutz says during the meeting the town wants to make sure the community is ready for Citizens on Patrol and if it is a program residents want to get behind.
She adds, if they get strong agreement they will move forward and elect a board.
Lutz says the objective for Citizens on Patrol is to have an extra set of eyes and ears in the community.
She emphasizes the fact this is not a vigilante organization.
Meanwhile, community member Vince Clarke has been spearheading the reboot of Citizens on Patrol and will also be nominating himself for President of the local program.
He talks about the plans for the reboot.
Clarke hopes the meeting will have a good turnout with many proactive citizens in attendance.
