Town & Chamber Of Commerce Combine To Recognize Innisfail's Finest

The Town Of Innisfail & The Innisfail Chamber of Commerce Handed Out More Than A Dozen Awards As Part Of Their 2nd Annual Gala Last Weekend.

The town of Innisfail's annual salute to small business took place last weekend (October 18th).

The Innisfail Chamber of Commerce's Business of the Year was awarded to Poplar Grove Veterinary Services at the gala event. Adam Schierman with Poplar Grove says they were surprised and excited to be recognized for what they do and how hard they try for their customers.

 

Schierman explains what he believes they do well.

  

The Business Contribution of the Year award went to Fourlane Ford. FRIAR Alberta Registries captured Customer Service of the Year honours. Gisler Boer Goats Farm was the winner of the Farm Family of the Year.

The town of Innisfail also handed out a series of awards the Mayor's Recognition Award went to JJ Beauchamp. Innisfail's Citizen of the Year is Gary Patrick. Hazel Holoboff won the Community Cultural Award. The Community Builder award was bestowed upon Kristen Spatz. Brayden Toliver was presented the Leaders of Tomorrow award.

Kirsten Baumgardt won the Female Athlete of the Year, while Quinn Layden was the Male Athlete of the Year. Tom DeRuyter earned the Coach Recognition award. And, the Innisfail Bantam Female Flyers Hockey Team was the Sports Team of the Year.
