Stormy weather across central Alberta and southern Saskatchewan spawned reports of five tornadoes.
Reports of a tornado touching down between Olds and Didsbury were called into the Mountain View County office on Tuesday afternoon.
County Patrol Officer Rob Ridley says local fire departments investigated and emergency operations centre resources were offered but not required.
Ken Smith lives 4 miles west of Highway 2A on Amarado Road - he runs down some of the damage caused by the severe weather.
Environment Canada's Louis Kohanyi says that was one of five tornadoes reported yesterday - two of them were in Alberta while the other three were in Saskatchewan.
He says this type of weather is normal for this time of year.
Kohanyi says none of the tornadoes are confirmed yet.
There were no reports of injuries to people, but some cattle near Didsbury apparently were hurt.
The other twister in Alberta was reportedly near Halkirk.
