Rocky Mountain House RCMP Seek Information In Pedestrian Fatality

A hit & run incident on the Sunchild First Nation during the early morning hours of Friday, May 17th has claimed the life of a 39 year old mother of five. Rocky Mountain House RCMP are seeking information from anyone who may have seen this incident which occurred on the main road, about 2.2 kilometres west of the school road.

Sunchild First Nation, Alberta - RCMP in Rocky Mountain House are actively investigating a pedestrian fatality which occurred on the Sunchild First Nation.

A 39 year old mother of five was struck and killed by a motor vehicle at approximately 03:00 am on May 17, 2019.

The woman was walking on the main road, approximately 2.2 kilometres west of the school road when the collision occurred.

Sunchild First Nation, Alberta - On May 17, 2019, at approximately 3:00 a.m., a female was walking on the Sunchild First Nation and was struck by a vehicle.

Emergency Medical Services and the Rocky Mountain House RCMP responded to the scene to find the female deceased upon arrival, and the vehicle to have fled.
