Rocky Mountain House RCMP - Make 4 Arrests In West Country

Four individuals were arrested in the west country by Rocky Mountain House RCMP after two vehicles were involved in a gas & dash in Spruce View.

Police say on November, 17th at approximately 7:15AM Innisfail RCMP reported that two vehicles had been involved in a gas & dash at the Co-op gas bar in Spruce View.
One of the vehicles - a Jeep Liberty - had been reported stolen from Red Deer. Both vehicles subsequently fled towards Caroline. Rocky Mountain House RCMP were advised of the incident and began patrolling the area of Highway 22.

At about 8am, Rocky RCMP members located both vehicles at the intersection of Highway 22 and highway 54. Police attempted to stop the vehicles at which time they sped away.

A short time later, Rocky RCMP located both vehicles on Trunk Highway 734, the vehicles fled but were eventually stopped. Dylan Steinbach from Innisfail, Katie Carpentier from Red Deer, Brenden Bowe from Red Deer, and Natasha Fyfe from Three Hills were all located and arrested at the scene.

According to Mounties, numerous stolen identifications including credit cards, bank cards and cheque books were located inside the vehicles. Police also located counterfeit American and Canadian currency and equipment used to manufacture counterfeit money. A BB handgun, methamphetamine and marihuana were located in one of the vehicles.
The four individuals are facing numerous charges and are slated to appear in court this month.
