RCMP Say Waunch Facing 37 Charges; Chambers Still At Large

ANDREW WAUNCH IS FACING 37 CHARGES INCLUDING ROBBERY WITH A FIRE ARM AFTER TAKING A VEHICLE AT GUNPOINT LAST WEEK JUST OUTSIDE OF OLDS.

ALBERTA RCMP ISSUED AN UPDATE ON THE MATTER YESTERDAY AFTERNOON (JUNE 13TH).

WAUNCH IS ALSO LOOKING AT ATTEMPTED MURDER CHARGES, BREAK AND ENTER CHARGES, UNLAWFUL CONFINEMENT  AND SEVERAL OTHER RELATING TO AN INCIDENT IN SYLVAN LAKE WHERE HE AND ASHLEY CHAMBERS BROKE INTO A HOME AND DEMANDED CASH.

POLICE SAY WAUNCH POINTED A FIRE ARM AT THE MALE RESIDENT OF THE HOME AND FIRED BUT THE WEAPON DID NOT DISCHARGE.

WAUNCH IS SLATED TO APPEAR IN PROVINCIAL COURT AGAIN TODAY (JUNE 14TH).

THE 23 YEAR OLD CHAMBERS IS STILL AT LARGE AND WANTED ON WARRANTS FOR ATTEMPTED MURDER AS WELL.
