October 1st was the last time family members had any type of conact with 28 year old Clayton Garrett Friedley. He was reported missing on October 12th. Police say there is no suggestion of foul play at this point.
Olds RCMP are seeking the public's assistance in locating a missing
28 year old Clayton Garrett Friedley was last spoken to on October 1st, and
he has not had contact with any members of his family since then.
Mounties received the report from a relative on the evening of October
RCMP have visited Friedley's residence in Olds as part of the investigation.
There is no suggestion of foul play at this point.
Police describe Friedly as a 6'4 210 lb caucasian male with blue eyes and
He has a black and red tattoo of a bull between his shoulder blades as well as has a
3 inch scar on the left side of his head.
If anyone comes in contact with Friedly or knows of his whereabouts, contact
the Olds RCMP at 556-3324.

Town of Olds - Cannabis Retail Bylaw Update
It is anticipated that about 5 or 6 cannabis retail stores will be opening in the town of Olds. That is according to CAO Michael Merritt. He notes the cannabis retail stores separation distances were also changed too 100 meters from 150 meters during the Monday, December 10th council meeting. That includes separation from schools, public parks, hospitals and other cannabis stores.
New Runway Lighting System For Olds/Didsbury Regional Airport
The switch was flipped to turn on the new runway lighting system at the Olds/Didsbury Regional Airport on Wednesday evening. Craig Chapman is a member of the airport's operations committee. He says the old system had deteriorated, so they really needed new wiring in the ground and they also upgraded to new LED lights which will use about one-third less power.
