Olds RCMP - Citizens On Patrol Program Returning To Town of Olds

According to the town of Olds, there is a Citizens on Patrol organizational meeting coming up on Wednesday, November 8th at 7PM at the Fire Hall. Volunteers are wanted for this community based crime prevention initiative, email jlutz@olds.ca for more information.

Stolen vehicles and property crime continues to be a problem in the region as well as in the rest of the province .

That is according to Corporal Mike Black with the Olds RCMP Detachment.
 
 
Meanwhile, Corporal Black he says the Citizens on Patrol program for the town of Olds is getting a reboot
 
 
He says there is an opportunity to get involved with Citizens on Patrol in the coming weeks.
 
 
According to the town, there is a Citizens on Patrol Organizational Meeting on Wednesday, November 8th at 7PM at the Fire Hall.
 
Corporal Black encourages residents to attend the meeting and get involved with CItizens on Patrol.
