J.C. Jack Anderson's Classic Car Collection Fetches More Than A Million Dollars For OC

THE J.C JACK ANDERSON CHARITY CAR AUCTION ON SUNDAY (JUNE 23RD) BROUGHT IN BETWEEN $1.1 AND 1.2 MILLION DOLLARS FOR OLDS COLLEGE.

OC'S PRESIDENT DR. TOM THOMPSON REFERRED TO IT AS A PHENOMENAL WEEKEND FOR BOTH THE COLLEGE AND THE COMMUNITY.

THOMPSON ADDS AUCTIONING OFF MORE THAN 100 CLASSIC CARS GENERATED INCREDIBLE NOTORIETY FOR OLDS COLLEGE.


THE CAR THAT SOLD FOR THE MOST AT THE MUCH ANTICIPATED CAR AUCTION WAS A 1956 CORVETTE ROADSTER. IT WENT FOR $66, 000. CHRIS HALE WITH HALER CONCEPTS RESTORED THE CLASSIC CAR AND SAYS THEY'RE HAPPY WITH HOW MUCH IT SOLD FOR.

HALE WAS PLEASED TO BE ABLE TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE AUCTION.


THE NEXT BIG EVENT ON THE HORIZON AS PART OF THE COLLEGE'S CENTENNIAL CELEBRATIONS WILL BE THE WORLD PLOWING CHAMPIONSHIPS WHICH COME TO OLDS IN JULY.
