MV County 2018 Project Budget

Mountain View County Council approved the project budget for 2018 at $29.2 million dollars. It is comprised of $26 million in capital projects, $2.2 million of operating projects and $842,000 of liability expenses. Reeve Bruce Beattie adds, that will carry the county through until spring when the provincial government requisitions will be handed down.

Mountain View County Council went through its project budget for next year during the regular  meeting on Wednesday, December 13th.

He says a major project for 2018 is the bridge on Range Road 52 down by Water Valley.
 

 
Beattie says they will be keeping tabs on the 260 bridgets iin Mountain View County so there are no sudden closures like the 582 bridge in Didsbury this fall.
