Blake Richards is welcoming the federal government's 2013 Economic Action Plan.
Outlined as part of the budget document delivered last week in Parliament by Finance Minister Jim Flaherty is a record $70 billion dollar investment in infrastructure across Canada.
The MP for the Wildrose constituency is proud of his government's record on infrastructure in this area.
Richards believes the document strikes the balance his constituents were looking for during his pre-budget consultations.
Richards also acknowledged the keen interest of his constituents in balancing
the budget. He notes federal spending this year is projected to be over
$11 billion dollars lower than planned in order to help eliminate the deficit by
the fall of 2015.
