The local food bank needs to accumulate food for the upcoming school year.
The summer months have brought a drop in donations for the Mountain View Food Bank.
Cheryl Cunningham, Secretary of the Mountain View Food Bank Society, wants to remind the public that their need is constant and continual and they rely on donations.
She says the start of a new school year always leads to an increase in
demand.
Cunningham says they need things like snacks for lunchboxes, juice boxes, cookies and cereal.
The Mountain View Food Bank is located in the provincial building on 50th Street in Olds.
