Meet Chase Brown The Alberta Party Candidate For Olds-Didsbury-Three Hills

A 21 year old post-secondary student at the U of A Augustana Campus in Camrose has been nominated as the Alberta Party's candidate for Olds-Didsbury-Three Hills in this spring's provincial election.

The Alberta Party is getting close to having a full slate of candidates for the spring election.

That is according to the Alberta Party candidate for Olds-Didsbury-Three Hills. Chase Brown says right now they have just over 60 nominated candidates.

Brown says he was drawn to the Alberta Party after the 2015 election and has been a supporter of the party since.

He is deeply concerned with the rise of rural crime.

Brown says the Alberta Party's proposal is to get local RCMP, rural crime watches and citizens on patrol to educate citizens about land owner rights and crime prevention.

He has served on the Citizen's Advisory Committee in Drumheller and says education is defiantly key to keep crime from happening.

The 21 year old was born in Hussar, Alberta and was encouraged to run for the local nomination.

Brown will finish his degree this spring at the U of A Augustana Campus in Camrose with a bachelor of management with a major in economics.

His home residence is at the family ranch just north of Hussar and Brown says he will continue living there after finishing his degree.
