Jaxon Zanolli From Olds Spitfires Named Most Outstanding Player For Pee Wee AA

A 13 year old pitcher from the Olds Spitfires has received provincial recognition. Baseball Alberta has named Jaxon Zanolli the 2017 Most Outstanding Player for Pee Wee AA. Greg Grover, President of Olds Minor Baseball, says Zanolli definitely has a lot of skill and ability plus he was one of their team leaders. The Olds Spitfires won the Tier 1 Pee Wee AA provincials in Grande Prairie this season and advanced to Kamloops, B.C. where they finished third at Westerns.

Jaxon Zanolli from the Olds Spitfires has been named the province-wide Most Outstanding Player for Pee Wee AA  by Baseball Alberta. 
Greg Grover, President of Olds Minor Baseball, says the 13 year old Zanolli was their ace right from the beginning of May until the middle of August.
Grover notes it is a rare honour to receive for a player from Olds Minor Baseball.
He explains what it means for their association.
In addition to pitching, Zanolli played first base but he was versatile enough for the Spitfires to put him just about anywhere, according to Grover.
Zanolli will be moving on from Pee Wee to his first year of Bantam in 2018.
