Jaxon Zanolli from the Olds Spitfires has been named the province-wide Most Outstanding Player for Pee Wee AA  by Baseball Alberta.
Greg Grover, President of Olds Minor Baseball, says the 13 year old Zanolli was their ace right from the beginning of May until the middle of August.
Grover notes it is a rare honour to receive for a player from Olds Minor Baseball.
He explains what it means for their association.
In addition to pitching, Zanolli played first base but he was versatile enough for the Spitfires to put him just about anywhere, according to Grover.
