Innisfail RCMP - Respond To Break & Enter And Arrest One

A 20 year old man from No Fixed Address has been arrested following a break & enter on a lease site in a rural area SE of Penhold.

On Sunday, November 19th Innisfail RCMP responded to a call of a break and enter in progress on a lease site in a rural area southeast of Penhold.
 
The complainant was able to provide a good description to police of the suspect vehicle and the person observed on the property. RCMP attended and observed a vehicle and a male matching the description provided.
 
The male was observed walking toward the truck carrying a bag. Mounties ordered the male to stop and he began to run away and hide. RCMP located the male and arrested him without incident.
 
He was identified as 20 year old Jonathan James Scott of No Fixed Address.
 
Scott has been formally charged with break & enter, possession of break-in tools, breach of probation order, as well as possession of stolen property exceeding five thousand dollars.
