The Innisfail & District Chamber of Commerce has many activities planned for Saturday, November 18th as part of the 2017 edition of the Innisfail Hometown Christmas.

Innisfail Hometown Christmas is ready to go this weekend for the festive season.
 
Manager of the Innisfail & District Chamber of Commerce Carla Gobbert says everything starts in the morning on Saturday, November 18th.
 
 
Gobbert adds, events are going on all day.
 
 
Watch for Santa with the Santa Tracker to win chamber cash by taking a selfie with him and sharing it to the Innisfail Chamber Facebook page.
 
Other free events include horse drawn sleigh rides from 1-3 between the Legion and the Fire Hall.

  • Town of Carstairs - 2017 Was A Strong Year For Development

    The 2016 census shows a population of 4,077 residents in Carstairs, but Mayor Colby expects that to be around 4,600 now because of the town's continued growth. He and council are hoping they will hear some good news back from Chinook's Edge School Division to expand the elementary school. As for the 2018 budget, council is in the reviewing process. Colby says they are not looking at any increases at this point and the budget should be finalized shortly.
