Gary Gorst Defends Strathmore Stampede Title

The 2017 Strathmore Stampede's chuckwagon champion is Gary Gorst. The 62 year old from Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan has now won the World Professional Chuckwagon Association event in Strathmore in back to back years.

Gary Gorst has won the WPCA chuckwagon event at the Strathmore Stampede for the second year in a row.
The Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan product and his TCB Trailer Services outfit had the best 4-day aggregate time of 4:59.78 seconds.
He credits his outriders Casey Knight and his son Dustin Gorst among others for helping him win in Strathmore.
Gary Gorst is in the top 10 this season in the driver standings as he currently sits in 9th place.
The next stop for the World Professional Chuckwagon Association is in Dawson Creek. 96.5 CKFM will provide nightly WPCA Pro Tour Live coverage from Wednesday, August 9th through Sunday, August 13th at 7:30.
