Former Federal Ag Minister Endorses Devin Dreeshen For UCP Nominee In Innisfail-Sylvan Lake

Former Federal Minister of Agriculture Gerry Ritz was at the Innisfail Legion on Friday to endorse Devin Dreeshen - a nominee for the United Conservative Party in the Innisfail-Sylvan Lake constituency.

Canada's former Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz was in central Alberta on Friday to endorse a candidate for the United Conservative Party nomination for Innisfail-Sylvan Lake.
 
He made a stop at the Innisfail Legion and met with voters and UCP nominee Devin Dreeshen.
 
Ritz says he and Devin go way back. Devin was an advisor to Ritz from 2008-2015.
 
 
 
 
Ritz notes agriculture is such a diverse portfolio in Canada and also the 3rd strongest driver of our Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
 
 

 

Ritz says he and Devin made a lot of miles both domestically and internationally which include meetings in the U.S, China, and Russia.
 
 
 
 
As for the current grain backlog , Ritz says Canada has been there before.

 

 
 
Red Deer County Councillor Christine Moore and Penhold town councillor Mike Walsh have also announced their intention to run for the constituency's United Conservative Party nomination. Premier Notley has not yet called a byelection for Innisfail-Sylvan Lake.
