Fire Ban Imposed For The Town Of Olds

Due to extremely dry conditions, a fire ban has been imposed for the town of Olds.

The town of Olds issued a fire ban on the afternoon of Thursday, September 7th.
This fire ban includes open fires, charcoal briquette barbeques, camp fires, fires used for cooking, burning barrels and the discharge of all fireworks.
The town of Olds fire ban does not apply to cooking and heating appliances that are fueled by natural gas or propane.

This fire ban comes into effect immediately and will continue until further notice.
A person or persons who sets a fire not permitted under this fire ban will be responsible for all costs incurred for the extinguishing of the fire pursuant to fire bylaw 2005-06 of the town of Olds.
