Fatal 2 Vehicle Collision in the County of Red Deer.

Blackfalds RCMP report a 59 year old Bowden man was killed in Tuesday morning\'s collision at the intersection of highway 595 & Range Road 260.

A fatal 2 vehicle collision has claimed the life of a 59 year old Bowden man.

According to Blackfalds RCMP, an eastbound gravel truck was stopped & preparing to make a left hand turn when it was struck from behind by a flat bed truck carrying lumber.

Police say the driver & lone occupant of the flat bed truck was deceased at the scene, while the 43 year old female driver & lone occupant of the gravel truck was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The fatal collision occurred at the intersection of highway 595 and Range Road 260 in the County of Red Deer Tuesday September 27th at 7:50am.
