Didsbury Skatepark Design Presentation

There will be a chance to take a look and give your feedback on the proposed designs for the Didsbury Skateboard Park in the town council chambers on Thursday, February 15th at 6:30pm Manager of Community Services Nicole Aasen says the future park is part of the Didsbury Memorial Complex Outlying Plan. She notes the Skateboard Park Committee is looking to access large scale provincial grants to help fund part of the project plus there will also be upcoming events and fundraising opportunities.

Town of Didsbury residents will have a chance this week to see the design proposals for the new skateboard park.
 
Manager of Community Services Nicole Aasen says the presentation will preview two different design possibilities.
 
 
 
 
The Didsbury Municipal Skateboard Park is part of the Didsbury Memorial Complex Outlying Plan - that plan can be viewed on the Town's website.
 
Aasen says the Skateboard Park Committee is also working hard to raise funds for a portion of the project. She adds, the estimated final cost is just over $500,000 dollars.
 
 
 
 
The Didsbury Skate Park design presentation to town council will be held on Thursday February, 15th at 6:30pm in the town council chambers.
