Devin Dreeshen has been acclaimed as the UCP candidate for Innisfail-Sylvan Lake for next year's Alberta election. United Conservative Party Leader Jason Kenney issued a statement following Dreeshen's nomination as the party's candidate for Innisfail-Sylvan Lake on Friday, November 30th. Dreeshen says anytime between February and May of 2019 is when Premier Rachel Notley could call a provincial election.
The United Conservative Party recently announced the nomination of Devin Dreeshen as the party's candidate in the Innisfail-Sylvan Lake riding for the 2019 election in Alberta.
He says it is an honour to be selected again as the UCP candidate for the constituency.
Dreeshen says it has been amusing to see the Alberta NDP government try to reinvent themselves as proponents of oil pipelines.
He explains what issues are constantly coming up when constituents stop in at his offices in Innisfail and in Sylvan Lake.
Dreeshen is a fifth generation farmer who says he will also be continuing on as the UCP Trade Critic.
He won the by-election in July of 2018 to become the Innisfail-Sylvan Lake MLA with about 82 per cent voter support.
