Connor Borle - Green Party Candidate For Red Deer-Mountain View

Red Deer-Mountain View candidate Conner Borle agrees with the Green Party's desire to move to a grassroots democracy. The 27 year old lives in Red Deer and as a teacher says his goal is working towards the future.

The 2019 Federal Election is coming up on October 21st.

In the Red Deer-Mountain View constituency, there are 3 candidates who have been announced so far.

Incumbent MP Earl Dreeshen with the Conservatives, Paul Mitchell with People's Party of Canada and Conner Borle with the Green Party.

Borle says he would advocate for farmers in Red Deer-Mountain View.

He adds the government needs to provide subsidies, courses and support in order to assist small farm or those getting into the agriculture field.

He says the government also needs to make sure to take care of our elderly population.

27 year old Borle lives in Red Deer and is a grade 9 teacher at St. Francis of Assisi Middle School. He teaches math and science.

Borle talks about why he decided to run for the Green Party in this year's federal election.

Borle is also a small business owner and says he will advocate for businesses.

On Thursday, September 19th there will be a meet the candidate event at the Olds Municipal Library from 5:30-6:30pm with Borle.
