Agri-Trade Recap

Organizers are pleased with another very successful four day Agri-Trade show earlier this month at Red Deer's Westerner Park.

The 2017 edition of Agri-Trade in Red Deer had over 470 exhibits.

According to Show Manager David Fiddler that also included the most outdoor exhibits they have had.

This year's event ran from November 8-11th at Westerner Park.

Fiddler says farmers and producers are planning for spring with this being the first show of the new planting season.

He notes they got really good feedback from exhibitors that this was one of the best Agri-Trades in terms of sales in a number of years.

He says they are pleased with the whole show and glad farmers in western Canada had a very good crop this year.

Fiddler says 33,381 people attended Agri-Trade this year and that included 90 international visitors.

Overall Fiddler says they are pleased with the whole show and it was another great year for agriculture. He adds, western Canada had a very good crop with high quality in the grains and substantial yields.
