2nd Annual $100 Club Campaign Brings In Close To $10,000 Worth Of Donations

The 2nd annual event included the opportunity for community members to make in person donations for the first time by stopping in at the Olds Legion. Contributions were also accepted through a radiothon on 96.5 CKFM and online at www.oldshealthdonations.com.

Close to $10-thousand dollars has been raised during the 2nd annual Olds Hospital Care Foundation's $100 Dollar Club campaign.
That is according to Dennis Kennedy, Co-chair of the $100 Dollar Club Fundraising Committee. He says funds will go towards an update of the television wiring and receivers at the Olds hospital.
Kennedy says this fundraiser is an evolving model.
He says Wednesday, June 8th was a great day and the committee is so thankful for all the donations.
Kennedy adds at the free pancake breakfast held at the Olds Legion fed 240 people thanks to the Kiwanis Club.
