2013 Alberta Budget Reaction From Olds-Didsbury-Three Hills MLA

THE ALBERTA GOVERNMENT'S 2013 BUDGET WAS UNVEILED LAST WEEK IN THE LEGISLATURE AND A LOCAL WILDROSE MLA SAYS ITS LOOKING LIKE A TOUGH YEAR AHEAD.

ACCORDING TO BRUCE ROWE - WHO REPRESENTS THE OLDS-DIDSBURY-THREE HILLS CONSTITUENCY - THE PROGRESSIVE CONSERVATIVES RELIED TOO HEAVILY ON PROJECTED OIL REVENUES AND THAT HAS TURNED INTO A MASSIVE DEFICIT.

THE WILDROSE PARTY SAYS THE TRUE DEFICIT IS ABOUT 5.5 BILLION DOLLARS AND NOT THE 2 BILLION THAT THE PC'S CLAIMED.

ROWE SAYS HIS PARTY WILL CONTINUE TO PRESSURE THE REDFORD GOVERNMENT DURING THE SPRING SITTING OF THE LEGISLATURE.
